The Washington National Symphony Orchestra, also referred to as the NSO, is based at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
The NSO was founded in 1931 and has received high artistic acclaim under the leadership of numerous outstanding conductors and musicians, including its music directors.
They perform approximately 150 concerts each year, featuring regular concerts as well as a wide range of genres, such as film music, pops, and jazz.
